Despite its dangers, the sale of nasvay in Kyrgyzstan is not yet prohibited by law, making it accessible to the population. It comes in a compact package and does not emit strong odors like cigarettes, creating an illusion of safety, especially among children and adolescents.
It is important to note that the production of nasvay is not subject to any regulation, and its composition includes substances that can seriously threaten health.
Impact of nasvay on health:
- Central nervous system: increased irritability, distraction, depressive states, memory deterioration, frequent headaches.
- Oral cavity: unpleasant odor, burning and pain in the gums, tooth decay, formation of ulcers and sores.
- Cardiovascular system: narrowing of blood vessels, lack of oxygen and nutrients, heart rhythm disturbances.
- Gastrointestinal tract: intoxication, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, gastritis, ulcerative lesions.
- Reproductive system: reduced production and activity of sex hormones.
- Development of children and adolescents: risk of delays and disorders in physical, intellectual, and psychological development.
The message emphasizes that "according to oncologists, up to 80% of cases of cancer of the tongue, lips, oral cavity, and larynx are directly related to the use of nasvay."
