On December 30, 2025, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, visited the National Center for Maternal and Child Health in Bishkek, where he spent time with young patients from the oncology and oncohematology departments. This was reported in a press release from the Ministry of Health.
In anticipation of the New Year, a festive atmosphere prevailed at the National Center, where a New Year program was prepared for the children with the participation of animators. Bright costumes and joyful faces helped distract the children from difficult moments, giving them a sense of magic. Each child received a New Year gift.
Then the minister visited the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Family Support, where the festive mood was shared not only by the children but also by the staff who care for children with special needs every day. In recognition of their hard work, nurses and educators received bonuses and certificates of honor from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. The children were also presented with New Year gifts.
Kanbek Dosmambetov congratulated everyone on the upcoming New Year and expressed gratitude to healthcare workers for their selfless work and care for patients.
He noted that starting in April 2026, with the support of President Sadyr Japarov, doctors' salaries will be increased by 100 percent. Additionally, 5,000 mortgage apartments will be provided to healthcare workers. These measures will help improve the social protection of medical workers and make the profession more attractive.
Deputy Minister Ryspek Sulkaidarov, on behalf of the minister, conveyed congratulations to the staff and children of the Republican Specialized Center for Rehabilitation of Children and Families with Central Nervous System Damage in Tokmok, wishing them health and happiness. The center's staff received bonuses and certificates of honor, as well as a certificate for 200,000 soms to support their work.
