The Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, has initiated a lawsuit against the Roblox platform, accusing it of misleading parents regarding threats related to child safety. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the Attorney General, Roblox users in Texas frequently encounter sexual content, which raises serious concerns.
“We cannot allow platforms like Roblox to operate as digital spaces for criminals, where the interests of children are ignored for profit,” the statement emphasizes.
Previously, lawsuits against Roblox were also filed by the Attorneys General of Kentucky and Louisiana. It is worth noting that access to this platform is blocked in Iraq and Turkey.
