You must represent all Americans,” he stated, adding that a democratic society should not have kings and that Trump’s actions harm the country’s image.
The former president paid significant attention to the recent demolition of the east wing of the White House, which he called a symbol of the current administration. “What do you think about what he did to the east wing? It embodies his presidency. The same thing he is doing to the Constitution, the rule of law, and democracy,” Biden noted.
Joe Biden served as president from 2021 to 2025. Although he initially planned to run for a second term, after a poor performance in the debates against Trump, he decided to exit the race. His place as the Democratic Party candidate was taken by Kamala Harris, who lost to Trump in the elections in November 2024.
