In the American state of Indiana, a massive traffic accident occurred involving about 45 vehicles. According to information provided by the local NBC affiliate, the incident took place against the backdrop of a heavy snowfall that hit the region.
According to reports from representatives of the Indiana State Police, the mass collision occurred on the highway when the snowfall impaired visibility and driving conditions.
Fortunately, none of the participants in the collision sustained serious injuries. The National Weather Service reports that in Vigo County, where the accident occurred, up to 10 centimeters of snow is expected to fall this coming Sunday, with wind speeds potentially reaching 56.4 kilometers per hour.
