Kazakhstan declared the streamer wanted in November, arresting him in absentia on charges of organizing illegal gambling activities. This followed a promotional campaign for the online casino Mellstroy.game, which targeted Kazakh citizens.
At the same time, in Belarus, videos and logos of Mellstroy were classified as extremist. Official statements indicated that the streamer encouraged his followers to participate in contests and engage in illegal activities, recording this for social media. Law enforcement agencies claimed that he incited people to hooliganism and public disorder violations.
Additionally, in 2024, Mellstroy was also declared wanted in Russia, presumably in connection with evading conscription into the Belarusian army. Later, the Telegram channel Mash reported that the streamer and his family are suspected of money laundering and tax evasion.
In July 2021, he received six months of community service for assaulting a girl during a broadcast. As a result of the incident, the victim was diagnosed with a closed head injury, a concussion, and bruises.
