Bolot Temirov and Rinat Tukhvatshin were recognized as extremists by the court
The request from Kyrgyz authorities for an arrest warrant for Rinat Tukhvatshin, co-founder of the media resource Kloop, was rejected by Interpol.
The request included a plea for the issuance of a Red Notice, which implies the detention of the specified individual with subsequent extradition.
Interpol's Director of Communications, Samuel Heit, commented on the situation, stating: “We received the request; however, our organization's charter strictly prohibits the use of the system for political purposes, which is why it was rejected.”
It is worth noting that on October 27, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek recognized the materials of the media outlets Temirov Live, Kloop Media, and “Ait Ait dese” as extremist. The activities of Bolot Temirov and Rinat Tukhvatshin were also classified as extremist.
