According to information from the publication Haberler, tensions in the hall sharply increased after the budget discussion concluded. The conflict began between Murat Emir, the deputy chairman of the Republican People's Party faction, and Mustafa Varank, a deputy from the Justice and Development Party. The argument between them quickly escalated into a physical altercation, which involved other deputies from both parties.

The situation was resolved thanks to the intervention of other members of parliament.

Despite the incident, the central government budget bill for 2026, as well as the bill on the final reports for 2024, were approved. 320 deputies voted in favor, while 249 voted against.
