According to expectations, the final sales figures will be published on January 2. BYD reported a 28% increase in sales of its electric vehicles, reaching 2.26 million units. At the same time, Tesla has not yet disclosed its data for 2025.

On December 29, Tesla made a forecast expecting sales of about 1.6 million vehicles, which represents a decrease of approximately 8% compared to 2024. This indicates a second consecutive annual decline, according to CNBC data.

At the beginning of 2025, Tesla's shares experienced a sharp decline amid growing competition from Chinese companies and the negative impact of Elon Musk's political rhetoric. However, in recent weeks, the stock price has risen to $489 per share after Musk announced the start of testing autonomous vehicles in Austin, Texas.

In mid-December, Tesla's shares reached an all-time high of $476 per share, increasing by 25% from the low on November 21. Analysts from Bloomberg attribute this growth to Musk's intentions to actively develop artificial intelligence in the automotive industry.
