In Cuba, 32 Cuban soldiers who died as a result of U.S. attacks on Venezuela were buried. This was reported by Cubavision.

The solemn ceremony took place on the runway of José Martí Airport, attended by Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, former President Raúl Castro, and Minister of the Interior Lázaro Alberto Álvarez.

In his speech, the Minister of the Interior noted: "Death will not break those who fall with a rifle in hand, defending the just cause."

After the ceremony, the coffins with the remains were transported through the streets of the city under the escort of three motorcyclists. Locals gathered along the road to pay their respects. It should be noted that the coffins appeared unusually small, which likely indicates that they contain only the remains of the deceased.

According to available information, the Cuban soldiers died on January 3 during the U.S. attack on Venezuela. As part of Operation "Absolute Resolve," U.S. forces carried out a series of strikes and reportedly evacuated Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro from the country.

The Cuban president stated that these soldiers were in Venezuela at the request of local authorities. U.S. President Donald Trump also mentioned the fallen Cuban soldiers.

The Venezuelan Ministry of the Interior reported that 100 people died as a result of the attack.
