During the operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, American military forces reportedly used an unknown powerful weapon. This was reported by The New York Post, citing the testimony of one of the Venezuelan leader's bodyguards.

According to him, Venezuelan security forces were on high alert, but suddenly all radar systems failed for no apparent reason. After that, numerous drones began to circle above them.

Within a few minutes, according to the source, eight helicopters appeared in the operation area, which he believes brought about 20 American soldiers. The bodyguard noted that their weaponry significantly surpassed standard firearms.

“There were many of us, but we had no chance. They shot with such accuracy and speed that it seemed like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute,” the publication relayed the bodyguard's words.

The source for The New York Post also mentioned the use of an unknown weapon, which he described as “a very powerful sound wave.” According to him, after this, the soldiers began to experience nosebleeds, a sudden deterioration in condition, and loss of mobility.

“We all started bleeding from our noses, some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground and couldn’t get up. We couldn’t even move after the effect of this sound weapon or something like that,” he recounted.

The publication notes that according to estimates from the Venezuelan Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 100 security personnel were killed as a result of the attack on January 3. However, there has been no official confirmation of this information from U.S. authorities or independent sources so far.
