As a result of a raid organized by the United States, 100 people were killed. This was reported by Reuters, citing Diosdado Cabello, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Venezuela.

Cabello characterized the incident as a treacherous attack, noting that among the victims were young people who had no connection to the events.

President Nicolás Maduro, according to Cabello, sustained a leg injury during the operation, while First Lady Cilia Flores suffered a head injury.

According to The Washington Post, U.S. authorities claim that about 75 people died during the attack on Caracas, including civilians and members of the security forces of Venezuela and Cuba, with injuries reported among American military personnel.

In Colombia, 32 fatalities were reported in clashes with Americans, while authorities in Havana stated that the operation was conducted at the request of Venezuela.

As reported by CNN, during a court hearing in New York on January 5, Flores had bandages on her head, and Maduro was having difficulty moving. The First Lady's lawyer claimed that she had a serious bruise or broken ribs.

Maduro and Flores were arrested and taken to the U.S. as part of Operation "Absolute Resolve," which took place in Venezuela on the night of January 3, lasting 2 hours and 20 minutes. The President and his wife are accused of "narcoterrorism," drug trafficking, and possession of weapons. Venezuelan authorities have deemed this event an act of military aggression.
