
The General Assembly was represented by delegates from 45 national Olympic committees of Asia, as well as participants from international sports federations and organizing committees of upcoming multi-sport events. Mongolia was represented by a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and president of the National Olympic Committee of Mongolia (NOCM) Battushig Batbold, first vice-president Naranbaatar Choigavaa, and head of the external relations department of NOCM Bayartuya Bayarsaihan.
During the Assembly, participants reviewed reports on the activities of the OCA, discussed reports from its commissions, and proposed amendments to the Charter of the Asian Olympic Committee. Information was also presented about the upcoming Asian Games, which will be held in "Sanya 2026" and "Aichi–Nagoya 2026," as well as competitions in indoor sports and martial arts in "Riyadh 2026."

Additionally, it was announced at the Assembly that Raja Randhir Singh, president of the Olympic Council of Asia, would be unable to continue his duties due to health reasons. He was succeeded by Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, president of the Qatar Olympic Committee, who became the 22nd president of the OCA and will hold this position until 2028. Sheikh Joaan was the sole candidate in the elections and had no competitors.
