The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan expressed serious concern about the situation surrounding Iran

Tajikistan expresses its concern regarding the escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly in the context of the situation with Iran. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, emphasizing the country's categorical unwillingness to participate in any military actions.

The official statement from the foreign ministry highlights that the republic is committed to the peaceful resolution of all conflicts, using exclusively diplomatic methods. Tajikistan calls on all parties to adhere to the principles of the UN Charter and norms of international law.

“We strongly urge adherence to the principles of the UN Charter and international norms, directing efforts towards maintaining peace and stability in the region,” the document states.

Against the backdrop of these events, U.S. President Donald Trump stated the day before that an "armada of American ships" is heading towards the shores of Iran.

“At this moment, an impressive armada is successfully moving towards Iran; we will see what happens,” Trump said during an event in Iowa.

He also expressed hope that Iran would agree to negotiations with Washington, although the details of the proposed deal remain unclear.
