In his address, the Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for his significant contribution to strengthening Thai-Mongolian relations over nearly six years, including the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the activation of exchanges between the peoples. The Ambassador, in turn, noted the support provided by Thailand and expressed confidence that his successor would be able to continue the development of cooperation.

The parties also discussed the regularity of visits, including trips by Mongolian ministers and high-ranking officials to Thailand, as well as participation in short-term educational programs after the pandemic. Additionally, the Ambassador reported on plans to install the sculpture "Two Stallions" in a public park near the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, which will serve as a symbol of friendship; the completion of the work is scheduled for this month.

According to the discussions, tourism was identified as one of the key areas for expanding cooperation, supported by regular direct flights between Ulaanbaatar and Bangkok, as well as Phuket. Thailand continues to be a popular destination for Mongolian travelers. The Ambassador suggested considering the possibility of launching direct flights by Thai airlines to Mongolia to further promote tourism, trade, and the economy. The parties also agreed to increase the volume of bilateral trade to $100 million by 2027 and attract investments of $1.5 billion.

On security issues, the Ambassador highly appreciated Thailand's efforts to combat online fraud and noted the need to deepen cooperation, given that Mongolia also faces similar threats. He also mentioned recent cultural exchanges, including the installation of the first Buddha statue outside Mongolia in the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, which serves as a symbol of the close ties between the two countries.
