
Tusk emphasized that in the event of a possible military conflict, the chances for evacuation could be severely limited.
“I do not seek to scare people, but we all understand what is at stake. A conflict can happen at any moment, and within a few dozen hours, evacuation may become impossible,” he noted.
Earlier, American media reported a significant increase in the U.S. military contingent in the Middle East. According to The Wall Street Journal, Washington is sending additional F-22 and F-35 fighter jets to the region, as well as command and coordination aircraft, including a second aircraft carrier. Sources from the publication suggest that these forces will allow the U.S. to conduct military operations against Iran for several weeks.
Nevertheless, as previously reported, U.S. President Donald Trump has not yet made a final decision regarding further actions towards Iran, and the scenario of events remains uncertain.
