As a result of the incident, 26 people were injured, of whom seven, unfortunately, died. Among all the injured, 13 were hospitalized, and six received outpatient treatment.
According to the latest data from the regional Emergency Situations Department, five of the injured were sent to Kokshetau for treatment at a multidisciplinary regional hospital, while two others are awaiting transportation.
An operational headquarters is working at the scene of the incident, and the causes of the explosion are currently being investigated. The Akmolinsk region akimat has stated its readiness to provide all necessary assistance to the families who lost loved ones, as well as to the injured.
