The press service of the regional emergency management office reported that the cause of the incident was an explosion of a gas-air mixture. The incident became known at 21:18, and rescue services arrived at the scene within five minutes. The fire was localized by 21:25, and it was completely extinguished seven minutes later.
Four people who sustained burns of varying severity were hospitalized. Unfortunately, one of them could not survive despite the medical assistance provided.
As a result of the explosion, property in the apartment was damaged, and the roof of the building also suffered partial destruction. Currently, specialists are working to determine the causes of the incident.
