
On the night of February 3, explosions were heard near the diplomatic missions in Riyadh. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran (IRGC) announced the start of an operation to destroy "American political centers" in the Middle East.
According to Fox News, there were no staff members at the US embassy during the drone attack.
US President Donald Trump commented on the attack in an interview with NewsNation, promising that "you will soon find out" how Washington will respond to the incident.
Trump added: "We are inflicting significant damage on them. We are causing them great harm." He expressed confidence that the US is "very close to achieving" its goals. When asked about the current control over Iran, he replied: "You will find out very soon."
Speaking about attacks on American facilities or territory, Trump noted that this "is part of the war." He emphasized: "This is part of the war, whether people like it or not, but that is how it is."
