According to CNN, the U.S. has intelligence indicating that China may be preparing to provide financial assistance and missile components to Iran. Sources from the network note that Beijing is acting cautiously, as it is interested in ending the conflict that could threaten its energy interests.

At the same time, The Washington Post reports that China is currently not providing direct assistance to Iran, despite their close relations.

Earlier, Reuters reported that China is negotiating with Iran for the safe passage of oil tankers and ships carrying Qatari liquefied natural gas through the Strait of Hormuz. Beijing, which receives about 45% of its oil through this strategically important route, is demanding security guarantees from Tehran for shipping.

Additionally, The Washington Post reports that Russia is allegedly providing Iran with intelligence that could be used for attacks on American military facilities in the Middle East. The publication indicates that this concerns information about the movements of American ships and aircraft. The extent of the assistance remains unclear at this time.
