Donald Trump, in an interview with CBS, noted that the conflict "significantly exceeds the planned timelines." According to him, the White House previously believed that military actions could drag on for more than a month.
The U.S. President also emphasized that Iran has "neither naval forces nor effective communication, and its aviation is almost nonexistent," adding that the country has only a few missiles left.
During a Republican event in Florida, Trump again raised the issue of the imminent end of the war with Iran, stating that the conflict "will end quite quickly." He clarified: "We conducted a small operation to eliminate the threat. This will be a short-term operation."
Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced Iran's readiness to escalate the conflict and that they themselves will determine its conclusion. Iranian military officials also warned that they would not allow a single drop of oil to be exported from the region while bombings by Israel and the U.S. continue.
