The match will take place on March 21 at the "Steppe Arena" stadium. The Russian team is expected to include well-known players, among them Vasily Pervukhin — a legendary hockey player and coach, honored master of sports of the USSR, as well as an Olympic champion with medals of various degrees. He has participated in 112 international competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Games.
Also expected to join the team is Igor Mishukov, a famous forward who is a champion of the European Cup and a medalist of the European Championship among juniors. He also holds gold and bronze medals from the USSR championship and is the owner of the Spengler Cup, as well as a multiple top scorer in the Norwegian championship.
The main goal of this friendly match is to promote hockey among youth and children, as well as to demonstrate the speed, strength, and skill characteristic of this sport.
