On February 13, Bishkek will host an international freestyle wrestling tournament featuring the best athletes.
Four top wrestlers will compete in five Olympic weight categories: 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, and 97 kg.
Mongolia will be represented by Tulga Tömör-Ochir, who is a silver and bronze medalist at world championships, as well as a two-time silver medalist at Asian championships. He will compete in the 65 kg weight category.
In this category, the following wrestlers will also compete:
- Abasgadzhi Magomedov (Russia), world champion and silver medalist, as well as a two-time European champion;
- Ruslan Abdullaev (Azerbaijan), silver medalist at the U23 World Championship;
- Bilol Sharip (Kyrgyzstan), champion of the "Yashar Dogu" tournament, two-time bronze medalist at the U23 World Championship, and two-time winner of the U23 Asian Cup.
The draw will determine the pairings for the semifinals, and the winners will advance to the finals, while the losers will compete for bronze medals.
