Miezis will begin his journey in the 2025/26 season as part of the Ulaanbaatar Energy team.
He has won gold at the 2020 Olympic Games, silver and bronze medals at world championships, as well as numerous awards at European championships, including one gold and three silvers. Additionally, he was recognized as the most valuable player at one of the Grand Slam tournaments.
At the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Miezis had the honor of carrying the Latvian flag alongside volleyball player Tina Graudina.
