In connection with the 250th anniversary of the United States, the signature of the current president Donald Trump will be added to new paper dollar bills, alongside the signature of the Secretary of the Treasury. According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, this event will be the first in the country's history.

Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent noted: "Under President Trump's leadership, we are moving towards unprecedented economic growth and strengthening the dollar. Printing his name on dollar bills is a fitting way to commemorate the historical achievements of our country and the president, and it happens in the year he turns 50."

Treasurer Brandon Beach also added that American money will continue to embody the strength, prosperity, and unwavering spirit of the people under Trump's leadership.

He stated, "The president's contribution to the creation of an economic revival in the Golden Age of America is beyond doubt, and his signature on the money is well-deserved."

We remind you that on July 4, 2026, the U.S. will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
