Filippo Biondi claims that the results of satellite radar scanning conducted over the Giza plateau may indicate the presence of a large symmetrical structure beneath the sand. In his appearance on the Matt Beall Limitless podcast, he shared his findings, which were subsequently picked up by several foreign media outlets.

As one of his arguments, Biondi pointed to the "Dream Stele," located between the paws of the Great Sphinx, where two figures resembling sphinxes are depicted. According to the researcher, this could signify not only a symbolic representation but also suggest the possible existence of a second monument. A similar theory was previously proposed by the Egyptologist Bassam el-Shammaa.

Moreover, new data shows that structures with vertical shafts and passages have been discovered beneath one of the hills on the plateau, resembling objects associated with the well-known Sphinx. However, Biondi emphasizes that this is still just a hypothesis requiring further research and approval from the Egyptian authorities.

At present, there is no official confirmation of this theory. Previously, Zahi Hawass, the former Minister of Antiquities of Egypt, reported that the area had already undergone thorough investigation, and no evidence of a second Sphinx had been found. Many experts and fact-checkers also emphasize that archaeological excavations that could confirm the new hypothesis have not been conducted, and the theory itself remains unproven.
