Armenia's Prime Minister Pashinyan was attacked while leaving the church
One of the men began to argue with the security, who were trying to escort Pashinyan through the crowd of parishioners. He shouted, "Don't you dare look at me like that!" addressing the Prime Minister, after which the security pushed him away.
Then someone in attendance attempted to strike Pashinyan, but it is unclear whether it was the same person or another participant in the incident.
Later, lawyer Ruben Melikyan stated that as a result of the incident, two men were detained. The press service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that they are suspected of hooliganism and attempting to interfere with the lawful actions of a public official.
