In an official statement, the Turkish Ministry of Defense emphasized that "all necessary measures will be taken decisively and without hesitation in response to any threats to the territory and airspace of the country." The agency highlights the priority of national security, closely monitoring the situation in the region.
Previously, the ministry noted that an additional Patriot air defense system would be installed in the area of the military base located in Adana province. Another complex is also planned to be deployed in Malatya, where an early warning radar station is located.
