The incident occurred in the residential area of "Ak-Ordo," where police officers in a Nissan vehicle damaged a parked car and then left the scene of the accident. Eyewitnesses claim that the law enforcement officers were in an intoxicated state.
"According to the results of the internal investigation conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, it has been established that at the time of the incident both officers were under the influence of alcohol. This is a serious violation of service discipline and legislation. As a result, a decision has been made to dismiss police captains S.u.K. and M.U.," the agency reports.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that strict disciplinary measures, including dismissal, will be applied to its employees who violate service discipline and legislation, regardless of their position and length of service.
