According to the press release, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, together with the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, established that members of the group systematically extracted illegal profits for voting in the Verkhovna Rada.
Currently, investigative activities are being conducted in the committees of the Verkhovna Rada; however, NABU reports resistance from the State Guard Department: “Access for detectives to materials is restricted on European Square in Kyiv. It should be noted that obstructing investigative actions is a direct violation of the law,” the statement says.
Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko expressed the opinion that soon NABU and SAP may bring charges against several representatives of the "Servant of the People" party who received "informal payments from the slush fund." According to him, among the suspects may be the deputy head of the "Servant of the People" faction, Yuriy Kysel.
