According to available information, the incident happened on the night of January 1. The cyclist, a resident of the village of Dmitrievka, N.A., born in 2010, was heading towards Kant. At the same time, a truck was behind him, which, while overtaking, struck him. The boy died at the scene from his injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 312 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning violations of traffic rules and vehicle operation.
During operational activities, the identity of the driver who caused the accident was established — he turned out to be 28-year-old R.B., who was driving a red SHACMAN truck.
The perpetrator was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
