As part of the investigation, a fire-technical examination has been appointed. A criminal case has been opened under the article concerning "Violation of fire safety rules" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
It should be reminded that on January 6, a fire broke out in the palliative care ward. As a result of the incident, two severely ill residents died.
According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, four fire crews and an operational headquarters were involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was extinguished; however, 11 people, including one firefighter, were hospitalized.
