According to preliminary data, the senior police officer, Captain Z. u. A., in collaboration with juvenile inspectors N. A. N. and A. u. A., developed a scheme aimed at extorting money, in which the minor T. A. U., born in 2008, was involved. She was engaged in "sexual acts with certain individuals according to a pre-arranged scheme."
The investigative department of the State Committee for National Security in Osh and the Osh region has already initiated a criminal case. On February 4, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' SVR, the mentioned employees of the Uzgen District Internal Affairs Department were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security.
“During the investigative activities, confessions were obtained, and other facts related to setups carried out by the involved employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and civilians were revealed,” the statement noted.
Particular concern is raised by the fact that among those detained are juvenile inspectors who, according to their official duties, are supposed to protect children's rights and prevent offenses.
“Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and measures are being taken to fully document the illegal actions of the mentioned employees,” the statement said.
