The investigation established that police lieutenant U.O.Sh. used his official position to pressure foreign citizens working in the city without the necessary permits. He threatened them with fines and deportation, demanding monthly payments ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 soms for "protection."
All necessary investigative actions have been conducted regarding this case. In accordance with the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the suspect has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
The State Committee for National Security reports that the investigation is ongoing. Operational measures are aimed at identifying possible accomplices and additional episodes of criminal activity.
