In the Uzgen district of the Osh region, law enforcement officers, known as "werewolves in uniform," were detained for involving a minor in sexual acts. This became known through the press service of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).
According to the agency, the senior district police officer of the Uzgen district, Z.u.A., together with juvenile inspectors N.A.N. and A.u.A., created a criminal scheme. They extorted money by coercing the minor T.A.U., born in 2008, into sexual acts with several men according to a pre-arranged plan.
The law enforcement officers led the girl to wealthy men, after which they carried out fictitious arrests. For the purpose of obtaining material gain, they used psychological pressure and blackmail.
In connection with this case, the investigative department of the GKNB's Main Directorate for the Osh region initiated a criminal case. On February 4 of this year, in conjunction with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Internal Intelligence Service, the mentioned officers of the Uzgen police department were detained. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, they were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
During the investigative activities, confessions were obtained, and additional cases of "setups" by law enforcement officers and civilians involved in this case were identified.
“The most concerning fact is that among those detained were juvenile inspectors, whose primary task is to prevent offenses, protect children's rights, and conduct educational work,” the statement noted.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and efforts are being made to comprehensively document the illegal actions of these "werewolves in uniform."
