According to the press center of the State Committee for National Security, on January 13, as a result of operational investigative actions related to the pre-trial proceedings registered in the automated information system ERP, the investigator of the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jayil District — police captain Zh.A.Z. was detained. He is suspected of demanding 150 thousand soms for the termination of a criminal case.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect, and following special investigative measures, he has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, additional operational investigative actions are ongoing to identify other possible accomplices.
