In the Chuy region, an employee of the Internal Affairs Department working in the Jayil District has been detained on suspicion of extorting a bribe. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to information from the SCNS, on January 13, an investigator from the investigative service named J.A.Z. was detained for extorting a bribe of 150,000 soms with the aim of terminating a criminal case.
After the detention, the individual was placed in a temporary detention facility at the SCNS.
The statement also emphasizes that additional operations and investigative actions are currently ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this case.
