The incident was recorded on March 7, when three mine workers were underground at a depth of about 200 meters.
Thirteen employees of the Mining Rescue Service quickly arrived at the scene of the tragedy, retrieved the bodies of the deceased, and handed them over to law enforcement representatives. One of the miners was rescued and brought to the surface, after which he was handed over to medical personnel.
Additionally, 18 mine workers who suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning sought medical assistance at the Batken District Hospital. According to doctors, their condition is stable and does not raise concerns.
After the rescue operations were completed, a barrier was installed at a depth of 40 meters in the mine, and the rescuers returned to their bases.
