In Kazakhstan, dozens of people were poisoned by gas on a train. Two children are in intensive care.

As a result of carbon monoxide poisoning that occurred on a train arriving at the "Almaty-2" station in southern Kazakhstan, 52 people were affected. It is believed that the incident was related to filming organized by a film studio, as reported by Tengrinews.

According to information provided by the press service of the Almaty public health department, 13 ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene. All the victims were taken to city hospitals for examination and necessary medical assistance. Following examinations, ten children were hospitalized, two of whom are in intensive care, while the others are in specialized departments.

According to press service representatives, "all patients who did not require hospitalization were discharged for outpatient treatment after examination. The condition of hospitalized patients is monitored by doctors, and they are receiving the necessary medical assistance."

The press service of JSC "Passenger Transportation" also commented on the situation, stating that the filming took place at the incident site. "In connection with the rumors about carbon monoxide poisoning upon the train's arrival at the 'Almaty-2' railway station, we inform you that the national carrier is not related to this incident. The train in which the poisoning occurred belongs to a private carrier and was provided to the film studio for the filming process," the press service noted.
