Kudret Taychabarov was detained in November 2022 and was charged under the article "Creation of an Organized Group or Participation in It" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
An important point was that during the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh in 2025, the Central Election Commission denied Taychabarov registration as a candidate, citing his alleged connections with criminal elements.
According to information provided by the Main Directorate for the Fight Against Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the interrogation, Taychabarov confirmed that in a photograph taken in 2021 at Blonder Pub, he was indeed captured alongside the deceased leader of the organized crime group, Kamchi Kolbaev.
Documents from the Ministry of Internal Affairs indicate that the former official had close ties with a well-known criminal authority, which served as the basis for placing him on operational record as a person associated with an organized criminal group.
After the change of power in 2020, Kudret Taychabarov headed the SEZ "Bishkek," and on March 20, 2024, he was appointed head of the Tourism Development Support Fund.
