The investigation indicates that the arsenal was intended for committing serious crimes aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation in the country.
As a result of operational and investigative activities aimed at combating organized criminal groups (OCGs) in the Osh region, a significant cache of firearms and ammunition was discovered. This information was provided by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to representatives of the security service, the found weapons belong to members of the OCG led by the criminal authority Kadyrov Dosonov, better known by the nickname "Zhenko".
During the inspection, the following items were seized:
- 12 Kalashnikov automatic rifles (AK);
- 2 combat pistols, including a "Beretta" and a "Makarov";
- 2 smoothbore shotguns with shortened barrels;
- 11 magazines for Kalashnikov rifles;
- 700 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber ammunition stored in a hermetically sealed metal box ("tin");
- 58 rounds of 9×19 mm caliber;
- 66 rounds of 9×18 mm caliber;
- a set of cleaning tools for firearms.
According to the investigation, this arsenal was intended for committing particularly serious crimes, including with the aim of destabilizing the socio-political situation in the country.
The statement notes that the weapons were planned to be used at a "suitable moment," which could occur in the event of an escalation of the internal political and socio-economic situation in Kyrgyzstan.
It is also emphasized that such a situation could be provoked by destructive forces within the country seeking to change the current government through illegal methods.
Furthermore, according to the security service, support was expected from influential criminal authorities representing international criminal groups. Under the influence of the so-called "thieves' idea" and with the possible return of the influence of the criminal community "Brotherly Circle," they intended to create a new base for organized crime on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
