According to the GSIN press service, the tragedy occurred on February 7 at 12:30, when the body of Abdyrov, born in 1984, was found in the cell of Pretrial Detention Center-1. It is specified that he hanged himself using his pants on the internal grille of the cell door.
Representatives of the investigative operational group of the GSIN and the Special Prosecutor's Office promptly arrived at the scene. An investigative check is currently underway, during which necessary examinations have been appointed.
Kumarbeka Abdyrov was transferred to Pretrial Detention Center-1 on December 17 of last year. He was detained in the fall of 2025 after the tragic death of 17-year-old Aysulu Mukasheva. During the investigation, Abdyrov confessed not only to this crime but also to a number of other serious offenses committed over the years.
Abdyrov is a resident of the Chui region and is listed among the accused in a case involving a series of serious and particularly serious crimes.
