In the Jalal-Abad region, in the Suzak district, a tragedy occurred: a 28-year-old woman became a victim of her husband. This was reported by the press service of the local internal affairs department.
According to information from law enforcement agencies, on January 3, 2026, a call was received on the hotline 102 from a man born in 1990. He confessed that during a family quarrel, which occurred around 19:55, he killed his wife, who was born in 1997.
Information about the incident was entered into the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 122 of the Criminal Code ("Murder"), after which a criminal investigation was initiated.
During the investigative actions, an examination of the crime scene was conducted. A kitchen knife was seized as material evidence, and a forensic medical examination was appointed.
Investigators found that the suspect, who was the husband of the deceased, returned to his homeland on January 2, 2026, after working in the Russian Federation. During the conflict, he inflicted several stab wounds to his wife's chest, from which she died.
According to the decision of the Suzak District Court, on January 4, 2026, the suspect was arrested.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
