The investigation established that in 2016, the Bishkek City Court, which included judges S.B., Zh.M., and K.A., with the participation of prosecutor D.M. and lawyer S.Zh., violated the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic by illegally mitigating the punishment for K.A. As a result, he was released from the colony after only three years and continued to commit crimes against women.
After K.A.'s detention in the fall of 2025, he and his relatives provided detailed information about the corrupt actions that allowed him to evade responsibility nearly ten years ago. This served as the basis for the detention of lawyer S.Zh., and the Council of Judges agreed to hold the judges criminally liable.
Currently, judges S.B., Zh.M., and K.A. are charged under articles 336 "Corruption" and 352 "Issuing an Unlawful Verdict" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Prosecutor D.M. is also charged under article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Pervomaisky District Court has chosen detention as a preventive measure for all the accused.
As the investigation has shown, the actions of corrupt representatives of the judicial system became one of the reasons for the tragedy associated with the death of Aysulu Mukasheva and other girls whose lives could have been saved. The investigation is ongoing.
