According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the tragic events that occurred in the fall of 2025 were the result of not only the actions of K.A. himself but also the inaction of the judicial system. During the investigation, it was revealed that he committed not one but several murders of young women, hiding their bodies in various desolate locations outside of Bishkek. During interrogations, K.A. admitted that he had several victims.
The investigation established that K.A.'s criminal activities could have been stopped as early as 2015 when he was arrested for the attempted murder of a 21-year-old woman. At that time, the court sentenced him to 12 years in prison; however, in 2016, the Bishkek City Court, consisting of judges S.B., Zh.M., and K.A., with the participation of prosecutor D.M. and lawyer S.Zh., mitigated the punishment, allowing him to be released after just three years and continue his crimes.
Based on the collected evidence, the lawyer was also arrested, and he was placed in custody. The Council of Judges agreed to hold the aforementioned judges accountable under criminal charges.
Currently, judges S.B., Zh.M., and K.A. are accused under articles 336 (Corruption) and 352 (Issuing an Unlawful Decision) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Prosecutor D.M. has also become a subject of the corruption case. The Pervomaisky District Court decided to detain the accused.
Thus, the actions of the corrupt judges turned out to be one of the reasons for the tragedy that led to the death of 17-year-old Aysulu and other victims.
The investigation is ongoing.
