Former judges who altered the sentence of the murderer Aysulu Mukasheva have been detained

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, former judges have been detained for making changes to the verdict in the case of the murder of Aysulu Mukasheva.

The agency reported that Saniya Branchayeva, Zhanil Mambetaly, and Kaysyn Abakirov are accused of violations under the articles on "Corruption" and "Issuing an Unlawful Judicial Act" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Prosecutor D.M. also faced charges under the article "Corruption".

The First May District Court has decided to arrest the accused.

During the investigation, the lawyer of the accused was also detained, suspected of bribing the former judges. He has also been placed under arrest.

"Corruption in the judicial system has led to the tragic death of Aysulu and other victims. Investigative actions are ongoing," the official statement notes.




We remind you that the Council of Judges has granted permission to bring the aforementioned former judges to criminal responsibility.

At the end of September, a brutal tragedy occurred in the Issyk-Kul region: 17-year-old Aysulu Mukasheva was murdered. The suspect turned out to be 41-year-old Kumarbek Abdyrov, who had previous convictions. The investigation revealed that he took the girl to an apple orchard near the "Azamat" beach in the village of Jenish, where he committed the crime against her, and then strangled her in the vicinity of the village of Kaji-Sai in the Ton district.

Later, the suspect in the murder confessed to the rape and murder of the pregnant woman Kamila Duyshbaeva and Aysulu Mukasheva.
