A family quarrel in Kara-Balta ended tragically with the murder of a man. The suspicion of committing the crime has fallen on a 57-year-old woman, who is his wife.
According to information from the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region, on March 11, a call was received at the duty station of the Jayil District Police Department. The caller reported that a murder had occurred in a house on Cosmonauts Street.
The incident took place around midnight on March 11. In the evening, the couple was drinking alcoholic beverages, and a quarrel arose between them. The man began to insult his wife, exerting moral pressure on her.
The woman, tired after two days of work, was in the living room and wanted to rest. However, the conflict continued, and the insults from her husband provoked her fury. As a result, she took a knife from the kitchen and inflicted a fatal wound on her husband, born in 1971, while he was sitting on the couch. After that, she moved his body onto the carpet.
After the incident, the woman gathered her belongings, preparing for a possible arrest, and went to bed. In the morning, upon waking up, she moved the body into the hallway and called service 102 herself to report the incident.
A knife was seized at the scene, and the body of the deceased was sent to the morgue for forensic examination. An investigation is underway.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation continues.
