A woman has been detained and placed in a detention center.
On March 11, 2026, at 12:20 PM, the Jayil District Police Department received a report that U.V. was reporting the murder of her husband P.A. at the address: Kara-Balta, Kosmonavtov Street. The information was announced by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui Region.
The investigative and operational group that arrived at the scene established that on the night of March 11, around midnight, U.V., born in 1968, was at home with her husband, P.A., born in 1971.
During a joint consumption of alcohol, a quarrel arose between the spouses, during which the husband began to insult his wife and exert moral pressure on her.
U.V. tried to relax in the living room after two stressful days at work; however, the insults provoked her anger. As a result, she took a kitchen knife and cut her husband's throat while he was sitting on the couch, after which she dragged his body onto the carpet. The husband died on the spot from the injuries sustained.
After the incident, U.V. gathered her belongings in preparation for a possible arrest and went to bed. The next morning, upon waking up, she dragged the body into the hallway and reported what had happened to service 102.
A knife was seized from the scene, and P.A.'s body was sent to the morgue for examination.
U.V. was detained and placed in a temporary detention center.
