The duty officer at the Jayil District Police Department received a call from a citizen, U.V., who reported that her husband, P.A., had been killed in one of the houses on Kosmonavtov Street in Kara-Balta.
Preliminary investigations show that on the night of March 11, around midnight, the couple was at home drinking alcohol. At some point, a conflict arose between them.
The investigation suggests that the man began to insult his wife and exert psychological pressure on her. In response, the woman, in anger, grabbed a knife from the kitchen and inflicted a fatal wound to her husband's throat while he was sitting on the couch. After that, she moved his body onto the carpet.
After the incident, the woman packed her belongings, anticipating a possible arrest, and went to sleep. In the morning, she decided to move the body into the hallway and called emergency services to report what had happened.
A knife was found at the scene, and the body of the deceased was sent to the morgue for a forensic examination.
The detained citizen U.V., born in 1968, has been placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
