In Bishkek, a driver broke the arm of a UPSM employee and tried to escape

An incident occurred in Bishkek, during which a driver who violated traffic rules attacked a patrol police officer (UPSM) and attempted to flee the scene. This was reported by the press service of the city's UPSM.

According to the provided information, the event took place on March 13 at 8:37 at the intersection of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue and Slavyanskaya Street. The driver of the vehicle ignored the requirements of the traffic sign.





The UPSM officer approached the violator and requested his documents, but was met with aggressive behavior from the driver. He pushed her away and fled the scene.

As a result of this attack, the officer sustained a broken arm and was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Later, after leaving his vehicle, the driver attempted to escape but was detained by passersby and handed over to the police.

A criminal case has been initiated against the driver, born in 1996 and named A.B., under the article "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He is currently in custody at the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek, and further investigative actions are being conducted.
